HARP, Curtis “Curt” – of Flushing, age 60, passed away August 18, 2015 at McLaren-Flint. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 6PM Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Fr. Roy Horning officiating. Visitation will be 12-6PM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Curt was born in Flint, MI on August 4, 1955, son of Edward and Mae (Neumann) Harp. He worked at Delphi for 30 years as a model maker. Curt was an animal lover, especially his cats, Angel and Jenny. He was a private pilot, loved fishing, landscaping and RC airplanes. Curt was a member of Davison Hill Toppers RC Club and built his own airplane in the garage with his father to receive his pilot’s license.
Curt is survived by his mother, Mae Harp; sister, Anita Hannon (Troy); nieces and nephews, Sean (Tara) Hannon, Sara (Jason) French, Kristen (Christopher) Meyer, Tara (Brian) Johnson, 10 great nieces and nephews; aunts, Maxine (David) Andrews, Evelyn Neumann; his favorite four legged felines, Angel and Jenny; many cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Harp in 1988; grandparents, Stanley and Emma Harp; 14 aunts and uncles. |
