FREEMAN, Carl William (Papa), of Genesee Township, age 71, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center. Family and friends will hold a memorial gathering 3PM-5PM, Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the Burton Eagles, 3317 E. Bristol Road, Burton. Mr. Freeman was born in Huntington, West Virginia, July 23, 1945, the son of Dallas and Thelma Mae Freeman. He retired from General Motors as a millwright. Surviving are: wife, Sherry Freeman; children, Ed Freeman, Cathy (Scott) Wiggins, Charlie Mooneyham, and Brenda (Terry) Myers; grandchildren, Nikki (Dean) Tower, Joey (Jill) Storms, Kendra Carlson, Jessica (Chris) Tanner, Billy Bob Burch, Heather Myers, Jacob Freeman, Scott Freeman, Sonya (Dillon Woods) Freeman, Denny Wiggins, Carl Myers, and Terry Myers; great grandchildren, Cameron Storms, Kassidy Tanner, Anthony Tower, Kayden Storms, Mandi Tower, Sabrina Storms, Dominic Tanner, Payton Tanner, Conner Carlson, Bryleigh McClellan, Maci Freeman, Aleesia Woods, Aubree Houghton, Karter Freeman, and Myla Woods; sister-in-law Sue Freeman. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Dallas Freeman, Jr. and Ron Freeman.
