RUELAS, Inocencia “Cindy” - Of Flint, age 86, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Friday, January 9, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, G2316 West Coldwater Road, Flint, 48505.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Foundation
Visitation 2-8pm Wednesday and Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Friday at the church until the time of the Mass.
Cindy was born in Edinburg, Texas on December 7, 1928, the daughter of the late Feliciano and Benita Hernandez. Cindy loved to sew, cook, work in her garden and spending time with her family
Surviving are children, Alfonso and wife Evelyn Cantu of Flint, Suzanne and husband Jay Moldenhauer of Flushing, and John Morales of Corpus Christi, Texas;
grandchildren, Andrea, Kristina, Veronica, Gabriel, Jeni, Justin, Carissa and Nina;
9 great grandchildren;
1 sister and 2 brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, and several siblings.
