Taylor, Margret “Meg” – of Clio, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024, at the age of 81. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in Thetford Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Margret was born November 20, 1942, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Calvin and Geraldine (Berg) Choate. Meg was the heart and soul of the Taylor family. She married the love of her life, Brian Taylor, on April 14, 1962, and together they shared 62 years of cherished memories and a successful business, Taylor Well Drilling. Margret, known for her nurturing spirit, found joy in gardening, playing the piano, and spending time in her flower beds. However, her greatest love was reserved for her family. Her life was marked by cherished traditions, such as Friday night Safaris and Snafu and the annual 4th of July Festivities. Meg's warm presence and gentle nature will forever be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Surviving are: Children: Brad (Terri) Taylor, Craig (Kristine) Taylor, Brenda Taylor, and Brent Taylor; Grandchildren: Cody (Samantha) Taylor, Chelsea (Allen) Green. Rebecca Taylor, Jessica Taylor, Shelby Taylor; Great grandchildren: Scarlett Taylor, Dean Taylor, and Riley Green. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Brian Taylor; Parents: Calvin and Geraldine Choate; and Brothers: Dave, Dick and Tom.
