MAINER, Julia M. – Of Flint, age 95, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015
at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Rev. Ernest Davis and Pastor Butch Martin officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 3-8pm Friday and 10am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Deliverance Tabernacle for the needy.
Julia was born in Mocksville, NC on March 3, 1919. She married Wade Mainer on November 28, 1937. She attended Deliverance Tabernacle.
Surviving are three sons, Frank (Eva), Kelly, and Randall(Carma);
daughter, Polly Hofmeister (Ralph Frederick);
two grandchildren, Stacie (Stephan) Hoffmann and Todd (Andrea) Hofmeister;
three great-grandchildren, Melina Hoffman, Sophia and Benjamin Hofmeister;
several step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade, on September 12, 2011 and son, Leon Spain, in 1985.
