SPENCER, Margaret M. – of Davison, age 91, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 at The Pines of Lapeer. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, October 21, 2013 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Mr. John Henson officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Outreach East or A-One Hospice, Inc, 1040 S. State St., Davison, MI 48423.
Margaret was born in Flint, MI on June 3, 1922, daughter of the late William and Mildred (Whitlatch) MacMillan. She married Richard Spencer on July 25, 1944 and he preceded her in death on January 28, 2009. Margaret worked at Buick Local # 599, retiring in 1986 after 31 years of service.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Jane (Gary) Smith, Barbara DeBerry, Martha (Steven) Kinnunen; grandchildren, Becky (Dan) Romzek, David Smith, Aaron (Sara) Sullivan, Christopher (Nicole) Kinnunen, Amy Kinnunen; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Seth, Amelia, and Noah Romzek, Rylan Smith, Emily B., Elizabeth and Spencer Sullivan, Kelsee Dupras; sister, Barbara (Tom) Armstrong; brother, James MacMillan; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Emily M. Sullivan; sister, Millie Smith.
