LEE, Roger Alan - age 78, of Swartz Creek, died, Thursday, January 23, 2020. Funeral Mass will take place 12 PM, Monday, January 27, 2020 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3139 Hogarth Ave, Flint. Rev. Fr. Anthony Strouse will officiate. Visitation will take place Saturday from 12 PM to 8 PM and again Sunday from 12 PM to 8 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Monday morning Roger will be taken to church to lie instate from 11 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass. Vigil service will take place Sunday evening at 7 PM at the funeral home.
Roger was born on August 19, 1941 in Saginaw the son of Victor and Betty (Renney) Lee. He worked for GM for 33 years as a line worker before his retirement. Roger and Mary Kaplan were united in marriage on May 21, 1966. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Roger liked to read, hunt, going to the casino, playing euchre and was an avid Detroit sports fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lee; two daughter, Marlo and Marguerite Lee; four grandchildren, Tasha Lee (Gib), Josh Lee (Julianna), Xavier Michael and Garrett Michael; three great-grandchildren, Andrea Lee, Aubrey Lee and Max Lee; brother, Wilfred Lee; sister, Eleanor Raleigh; and son-in-law, Matt Michael.
Roger was preceded in death by his daughter, Michele Michael and parents.
