Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Community of Christ Church, 1158 West Bristol Road, Flint, 48507.
Elder Fred McClellan and Seventy Bob Agnew officiating.
Private burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Community of Christ Church.
Visitation 7-9pm Thursday and 1-5pm and 7-9pm Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Elna was born in Davison on October 7, 1922, the daughter of the late Roy and Bessie (Darling) Prentice. Elna was a member of Community of Christ Church.
Surviving are daughter, Sherry Nichols and Carl;
sister, Wilma Lapota;
brother, Jimmy Prentice;
grandchildren, Suzanne Vickerman and Robert, Anne Walker, Daniel Nichols and Rachel, Christina Nichols and Kristy Kohn and Mike;
great-grandchildren, Taylor, Joslyn, Jonathan and Dylan;
brother-in-law and special friend, Glenn Ross.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Ross, daughter, Sandy Kohn, brother, Laurel Prentice, grandson, William C. Nichols, mother, Bessie Holloway and father, Roy Prentice.
