Williams, Doris Ilene- Age 86, of Davison, died August 29, 2018. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Sunday, September 2 at the East Flint Church of the Nazarene, 3515 N. Belsay Rd., Flint, Pastor Jason Crumm officiating. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 3-9 PM Saturday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, and 12-1 PM at the church on Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to the East Flint Church of the Nazarene.
Doris was born December 4, 1931 in Genesee County the daughter of John and Clara (Summerfield) Brewer. She married Charles Williams on August 27, 1949. She was a member of the East Flint Church of the Nazarene. He main priority was her family, she was the glue that kept it together. Surviving are: husband of 69 years Charles; six children, Katherine (William) Verbias of Burton, Charles (Sharon) Williams of Wentzville, MO, Shirley (Frederick) Smith of Otisville, Roger (Kay) Williams of Flint,Daniel (Rosemary) Williams of Davison, Steven (Michelle) Williams of Clio, 32 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; sisters, Violet and Edith; many nieces and nephews.
