REISCHLING, Eric John - Of Flushing, age 44, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 4pm Monday, January 21, 2013 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley Street, Flint,
Father Thomas Firestone officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Contributions may be made to the family to form a college scholarship for his family.
Visitation 1pm Monday at the church until the time of the Mass.
Eric was born in Flint on March 25, 1968. On September 30, 1995, Eric married Theresa Mullen in Grand Blanc. Eric was a Certified Occupational Therapist and was a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. Eric and his brother, Jeff, were well known for their band Swingin’ Demons. He also loved playing music with his sons. Eric also loved the game of golf. Eric was an amazing husband, father, wonderful son, brother and friend.
Surviving are wife Theresa Marie;
children, Ethan James and Nolen John;
brother, James Scott and wife Julie of Flint;
parents, James Dale and Patricia Sue Reischling of Rankin;
brothers-in-law, Michael and wife Angie Mullen and James and wife Tracie Mullen all of Traverse City and James and wife, Laurie Schleicher of Traverse City;
father-in-law, Robert Mullen and wife Patricia of Traverse City;
many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Paul in 2012.
