ETHERIDGE, Joseph, Fredrick- age 87 of Lennon, died January 21,2018. A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Sunday January 28 at Lennon United Methodist Church, 1014 Oak Street, Lennon. Visitation will be 1PM until time of service at the church on Sunday. Funeral Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.Those desiring may make contributions to The Venice Township Fire Department Equipment Fund.
Joseph was born October 29, 1930 in St.Louis, MO. the son of Fred Etheridge. He married Sharel Jane McCann in Grand Blanc on February, 27,1965. Joseph graduated from Chesaning High School and received an Associates Degree from Michigan State College. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. Joseph retired from Chevy Metal Fab,. in 1987 as a Supervisor. He enjoyed Fishing, and Gardening.
Surviving are; his wife, Sharel; children Chris (Peggy) Etheridge, Karl Etheridge, and Janet (Robert) Greenwood; grandchildren; Julia, Ryan, Jarod, Stefanie, and Jonas Etheridge; Victoria, and Meredith Greenwood; siblings, Faith Freeman, Gale Philips, Carlton Philips, and Nona Harless.
Joseph was preceded in death by; his parents; brothers, Robert Etheridge, Rodney Philips, Adrian LaBonvile, and Dean Etheridge; sister Dee Hegle.
