RODGERS, LAWRENCE GENE of Holly, age 68, died Wednesday February 6, 2020 at Home.
No services to be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held in June. Those desiring may make Contributions to the Flint Elks 222-Michigan Major Project at 1177 E. Maple Ave., Grand Blanc, MI 48439.
Larry was born in Grand Blanc, MI on April 18, 1951, son of Kenneth Eugene Rodgers and Leona Francis Rodgers. He married Lorrie Viar on December 31, 1997.
Larry was a member of the Flint Elks 222. He was a Millwright for Local 1102 then worked as a Millwright at GM truck and Bus in Flint. He was a union committee representative for Local 598 when he retired in 2016. Larry enjoyed Hunting, fishing and golf. He traveled to Alaska with his father and to Hawaii and Australia with Lorrie.
Surviving are wife Lorrie. Children: Chad Allen Rodgers and wife Angie, Anthony Neal Rodgers and wife Amy. Grandchildren: Morgan Nicole Grissom, Mason Allen Rodgers and Thomas Anthony Rodgers. Father: Kenneth Eugene Rodgers, Brothers: Mike Rodgers and wife Cathy, Mark Rodgers, Sister-in Law Diane Chriswell and husband Ray, Brother-in Law Jeff Viar and wife Danielle and Sister-in Law Cheryl Viar and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Leona Rodgers, Sister-in Law Christine Rodgers and Brother-in Law Randy Viar.
