LeMIEUX, Eugene J. "Geno" – of Howell, formerly Clio, age 57, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Saints. Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Rev. Fr. Bob McGraw officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the Birch Run VFW Post #7542. Friends may visit at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Sunday from 3PM until 7PM, a prayer service will be held at 5PM. Eugene will lie in state at the church on Monday from 9:30AM until the time of service at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Michigan.
Eugene was born on August 5, 1957 in Flint to Robert and Kathleen (Flynn) Lemieux, and attended Clio area Schools. He married Linda and she preceded him in death on January 21, 1987. Mr. LeMieux served in the Air Force. He worked at Meijers in Brighton. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid Tigers and Lions fan.
Surviving are: son, Jeremy (fiancé, Chelsea) Lemieux of LA; parents, Bob and Kathy Lemieux; siblings, Jeanine LeMieux (husband, Terry Brennan) of Metamora, Karen (Vince) Hatch of Westland, Carol Lemieux of Bogota, Colombia, Joni (Jose) Vasquez of Fenton, Mark Lemieux of Roseville, Rob Lemieux of Roseville; nieces, Patty, Christy, Tonya, Mariah; nephews, Ian, Nathan, Santos; and his family at Willowbrook Rehabilitation Services in Brighton.
