Bravender, Philip M. of Flushing, age 55, died Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at his home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Rossell Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to a charity of your choice.
Philip was born in Flint, Michigan on February 21, 1961, the son of Thomas and Doris (Smith) Bravender. He married Judith McDaniel on March 12, 1982. She preceded him in death on February 16, 2010. Philip worked for over 37 years at Halo Burger and was a manager for over 30 of those years. He was a sports enthusiast who loved bowling, golfing, and softball. Philip also enjoyed TV trivia shows.
He is survived by his daughter, Leigh; mother, Doris Bravender; brother, Russ and wife Toni Bravender; and many loving family members and close friends and co-workers.
Philip was also preceded in death by his father, Thomas; and brother, Steve Bravender.
