Barbara A. Herholz of Flushing, age 77, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Durand Senior Care and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Mayfair Bible Church. Pastor Len Lason will officiate. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church until time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Michigan Parkinson Foundation.
Barbara was born in Flint, MI on February 4, 1938, the daughter of Harold and Mary (Rieck) Ponton. She married Raymond W. Herholz in Flint on August 24, 1957. Barbara was a former L.P.N. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed crafts and playing cards.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; four sons, Mark (Debbie) Herholz, Craig (Carol) Herholz, Barth (Carmen) Herholz, Matthew (Cami) Herholz; ten grandchildren, Jennifer, Brandon, Tyler, Dillon, Alex, Nathan, Daniel, Natavia, Anna Rae and Jacey; sister, Sharon (Dallas) Collings; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Ponton. |
