Bethany Bernice Thayer, age 67 of Goodrich, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019. She was born on February 20, 1952 in West Branch to Raymond and Reginia (Barber) Betts. Bethany enjoyed baking, painting, and crafts. She was also an avid NASCAR and Green Bay Packers fan. More than anything, she loved being with her kids and grandkids. Bethany is survived by her mother, Reginia Betts; her loving children: Tanya Schroeder, Nicole (Marty) Short, and Rayann (Eric) Butterworth; grandchildren: Derrick (Deanna) Schroeder, Cody Schroeder, Leslie Short, Joshua Short, Shelby Butterworth, and George Butterworth; two great grandchildren: Presley Wood and Brantley Treichel; siblings: Diane (John) York, Mike (Marie) Betts, and Jullie (Larry) Seeba; her beloved dog, Dusty and cat, Baby Kitty. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Betts; husband, Carl C. Thayer. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Visitation will take place from 4-8pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, and again on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12pm. Interment at Goodrich Cemetery. |
