Churches, Joyce P. age 83, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 in Marquette, Michigan under the care of Norlite Nursing Home and Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 1PM-3PM and 5PM -8PM at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11AM. Joyce was born to the late Luther and Ruth (Bell) Rogers on March 2, 1936. Joyce married the love of her life Robert (Pump) Churches on March 23, 1956. Memories made with friends and family during the holidays, were always very dear to her heart. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Pump); son, Robert; son-in-law, Bill Ross; sister, Billie Baird. Joyce is survived by her children, Kathy (David) Singer of Marquette, MI, Linda Ross of New Baltimore, MI, Carolyn Sapcoe of Peoria, AZ, Martha Churches of Bloomfield Hills, MI; grandchildren, Billie (Damien) Sczepaniak of Chesterfield, MI, Matthew (Brittany) Singer of Marquette, MI, Christopher (Jessica) Singer of DePere, WI, Lisa (Kyle) Senn of Suamico, WI; Amber (Robert) Hardy of Surprise, AZ, Ryan Sapcoe of Glendale, AZ, Allison (Nicholas) Ross of Battle Creek, MI, Jacob Churches of Allegan, MI, Molly (Devin) Dunfield of Maxwell A.F.B., AL; great-grandchildren, Lita and Marek Sczepaniak of Chesterfield, MI, Peyton and Mason Singer of DePere, WI, and Judah Senn of Suamico, WI; sisters, Jean Robinson and Wanda Ford; best friend, Jo Cavanaugh; many nieces and nephews.
