COVEY, Phyllis Jean – Of Clio, age 66, passed over the rainbow on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Joey Graves
officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions-in her honor may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or New Testament Community Church.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Phyllis was born in Beckley West Virginia on March 14, 1952, the daughter of the late Thomas and Betty (Meadows).
She grew up in West Virginia and graduated from Ainsworth High School, with the class of 1970.
She earned her BBA and Masters in business from Central Michigan University. She graduated from nursing school and worked as a home health care nurse.
She enjoyed spending time with family, friends; beloved girls, dogs, Nicki, Abby and Chancey.
She loved music and playing her guitar.
Phyllis was employed by GM for 35 years.
Surviving are wife, Rene;
sister, Mary and husband Dennis Shute of Grand Blanc;
mother-in-law, Shirley Sturk of Grand Blanc;
many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many special friends.
