CLEVELAND, Thomas Dean – of Davison, MI, age 81, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Americana Seniors of Davison. A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM Monday, June 10, 2024, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Rob McPherson officiating. Private interment will take place following the service at Davison Cemetery. The family will receive visitors the hour prior to the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Davison United Methodist Church Kitchen Fund.
Thomas was born in Highland Park, MI on January 22, 1943, son of the late Otto and Wilma (Fewless) Cleveland. He married Judith Palshan on June 28, 1969, and she preceded him in death on February 9, 2023. Tom and Judy received the Ida Goodrich award in 2010 for being the outstanding senior citizens of the year. He enjoyed volunteering at the Davison Senior Center, Davison United Methodist Church, and the Old Newsboys of Flint. Tom retired from Buick in 2001.
Thomas is survived by his sister, Sandra McTaggart; brothers, Gary Cleveland and Ronald Cleveland; several nieces and nephews; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by brother-in-law, James McTaggart.
