WRIGHT, Donna - Of Flint, age 83, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 12-8pm Sunday and 12pm Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Donna was born in Gaines, Michigan on June 7, 1935, the daughter of the late Robert and Isabelle (Greer) Peterson. She attended Eastern Michigan University, where she received her Master’s Degree. Donna was an elementary school teacher for 30 plus years with the Flint area schools. She was a crafter and crocheted. She also loved skiing, traveling and visiting lighthouses. Donna enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are sons, Gregory Wright and Todd (Tricia) Wright;
Grandchildren, Kurt Grimes and Kelsea Wright;
Sisters, Ruth Walder and Darlene Peterson;
And several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wright and brother-in-law, Henry Walder.
