MAGINITY, Harold Roger. – of Mt. Morris, age 87, died Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
Harold was born April 26, 1931 in Flint, Michigan to the late Harold Harvey and Marvel Mae (Meredith) Maginity. He graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1949. Harold married Rosella Ann “Rosie” Corbin on September 18, 1951, together they enjoyed 63 years of marriage. Harold lost his bride and love of his life, Rosie on April 29, 2014. Mr. Maginity retired from Service Parts Operation (SPO) in 1987. He was a member of the UAW Local #659 and a 39 year member of the Masonic Lodge #535 F&AM.
Surviving are: Children: Kay Tereau, Julie (Jack) Neverdausky, Linda (Dan) Wright, David (Jeannie) Maginity, Patricia Maginity, Gordon (Vicki) Maginity, and Tracey Babcock; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; Sister in law, Vera Maginity; Nieces and nephews. Harold was also preceded in death by his brother, Dale Maginity; Grandson, Jeffrey Wright. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his friends from the Mountain Inn and the Oasis Bar in Mt. Morris. He truly enjoyed their company and liked sharing his "Mr. Mt.
