Margaret Ann Traver, age 83, of Columbiaville went to be with her lord and Savior on November 27, 2019 at Devonshire Memory Care in Lapeer.
Margaret was born January 1, 1936 in Lapeer, Michigan to the late Samuel and Cora [Farmer] Taylor. She married Richard B. Traver on December 25, 1953.
Margaret was a former clerk for Marathon Township back in the 70’s. She was a member of New Life In Christ Lutheran Church in North Branch. She enjoyed horseback riding, working in her many flower gardens, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her children: Richard (Susan) Traver, Susie (Jeff) LaDuke, sister: Ruth Broecker, 3 grandchildren: Amy (Earl) Griem, Jamie (Brett) Secord, “J” (Chelsea) LaDuke, great-grandchildren: Will, Sophie, Bohdy, Leland, and Gunner. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral service 11:00 AM Monday, December 2, 2019 at New Life In Christ Lutheran Church in North Branch. Friends and family may visit 3:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville. Pastor Joe Schierlinger officiating. Interment Wood Lawn Cemetery
