MOORE, Richard L. – of Clio, age 67, died on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1PM until 8PM, and Wednesday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM.
Richard was born August 5, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Alvin and Coleen (Moor) Moore. He graduated from Montrose Hill-McCloy High School in 1970, where he was involved in football, basketball, and baseball. Richard married Twila Stoddard on April 30, 1977. Mr. Moore worked for General Motors - V8 Engine with 20 years of service. He also worked at Buick City for 2 years. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom picking, and attending car shows. Above all, he loved spoiling and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are: Wife of 42 years, Twila Moore; Daughters: Tracy (Greg) Leighton, and Arianna (Josh) Hammon; Grandchildren: Austin Smith, Paige Smith, Cameron Leighton, and Desiree Hammon; Brothers: William Moore, Robert Moor, and Brian Moore; Step sisters: Sandra Talbot, and Michaelanne Kozan; Best friends: Milton, Mike, and Clare. Many other loving family members and dear friends. Richard was also preceded in death by: Nephew, Billy Moore; Brother, Gary Moore; Stepfather, Robert Schlegel.
