WELLS, Beverly Jean – Of Flint, age 77, died Sunday, February 24, 2013 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Calvary Community Church, 1201 West Twelfth Street, Flint, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettel officiating.
Burial in Fairview Cemetery in Linden.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Community Church.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 12-3 and 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. An Eastern Star Memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wells will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service.
Beverly was born in Flint, Michigan on January 14, 1936.
On April 21, 1956 she married Haskell Wells.
She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter #248 Calvary Community Church. She enjoyed fishing with her children and grandchildren, family dinners and playing at the casinos.
Surviving are husband, Haskell;
children, Dawn Hawley of Swartz Creek and
Melony Gifford (fiance’ Randy DuPlanty) of Linden;
4 grandchildren, Eric Hawley, Elizabeth Hawley, Chase Gifford and Shaelin Gifford;
3 great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews.
