McElhiney, (Schliter) Jessica Anne – of Clio, age 36, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at her home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 23, 2018 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Rick Schmidt officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 1-8 PM and on Monday from 10AM until time of service at 11AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Jessica was born October 27, 1981 in Flint, Michigan to Rodney and Deborah (Dudzik) Schliter. She grew up in Clio and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 2001. On May 16, 2009 she married Cayle R. McElhiney in Clio, Michigan. Jessica worked for Meijer’s in the Deli in Birch Run. She was a member of JOBS Daughters and an AA member. Jessica enjoyed being a tupperware dealer, cooking, baking cakes, shooting guns and taking in stray animals. She also loved to attend her daughter's soccer games and spend time with family.
Surviving are: Husband, Cayle; Daughter, Alyssa (Boobie) Lewis; Parents, Rodney and Deborah Schliter; Sister, Stephanie Schliter; Niece, Chloe (Tinka Pew) Walters; Grandmother, Patricia Sauer-Schliter; and many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Art Schliter, Phil Dudzik, Beverly Lamoreaux; Uncle, Bruce Schliter.
