STORER, Helen Mary - Age 91, of Swartz Creek, died Friday October 4, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Tuesday from 4-8 PM where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM and at church Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice House of Owosso or St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
Helen was born January 18, 1928 in Swartz Creek, the daughter of Joseph and Sophia (Cimbala) Seman. She was a 1946 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and received an Associate Degree in Banking from Baker College. Helen married William Bruce Storer October 1, 1949 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek and he preceded her in death January 16, 2010. She had resided in the Swartz Creek area her entire life. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and the Friendship Club.
Surviving are: her children, William (Dee) Storer of Lawton, Deborah Wilson of Lennon, and Timothy (Casey) Storer of Lennon; grandchildren, Aaron Wilson of Birch Run, Macy Storer of Swartz Creek, Morgan (Joseph) Seitz of Gaines, and Meghan Spohn of Flint; great grandchildren, Kyler, Paisley, Sage, Layla, Karter, Karo, Mari, and Sophie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joseph and George Seman. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
