Anna Williams, age 93, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at her home in St. Helen, MI. She was born on February 4, 1927 in Flint to William and Phyllis (Georges) Chuleas. Anna lived in St. Helen since 1986, formerly of Flushing. She was a member of the Daughters of Penelope Irish Chapter 242 through the Greek Orthodox Church in Grand Blanc. Anna retired in 1986 from AC Spark Plug and also belonged to a Birthday Club at AC Spark Plug in Flint with a couple friends that grew to many friends; for over 50 years continued. She was a loyal Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed watching the baseball games. She liked to listen to Frank Sinatra, traveling, golfing, knitting, flowers, gardening and most importantly spending time with her family and friends.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Ann Williams; sons, Daniel F. (Linda) Williams and Dean D. (Angie) Williams; daughter in law, Phyllis Williams; God daughter, Tina (Tom) Bowels; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Fred Williams, sons, John and David Williams, 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen, 702 N. St. Helen Rd., will begin on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 5:00 p.m. Sister Barbara Matievich, O.P. will officiate.
Visitation at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Rd., Flint will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Trisagion Service at 7:00 p.m. Fr. Jarrod Russell will officiate
The Funeral Service will be held at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 2245 E. Baldwin Rd., Grand Blanc on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Jarrod Russell will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Charlton Heston Academy Scholarship Fund or Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.
