Ronald "Ron" Wayne Gibson
Age 64 of Corunna passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held 5:00 pm Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Nelson-House Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Ron was born October 19, 1950 in Saginaw, the son of Cliff Gibson and Pauline (Mills) Albers.
He attended Chesaning Schools.
Ron enjoyed tending to his yard, fishing and hunting and playing card games; especially euchre. He looked forward to trips to Traverse City, motorcycle rides, watching old western movies and quiet time reading the Bible. Most of all Ron loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren's many activities and sporting events.
He married Victoria Berry in Saginaw on November 26, 1968.
Ron retired from General Motors, Buick City in Flint after 32 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Victoria "Vickie"; daughters Dena (Jeff) Church and Rhonda (Lee) Nations; son Brian Gibson; grandchildren Jordyn and BreAnn Clarke, Morgan and Max Nations, Tatum and Hunter Gibson; great-grandchild Johnathon Trzcinski; siblings Cliff (Joan) Gibson, Pat (Jim) McGraw, Paul Gibson Sr., Sue (Mick) Williams and Tim (Mary) Albers; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Ron was predeceased by his grandson Harper Wayne Gibson, parents Pauline and Cliff, niece Amy Gibson and nephew Nathan Bridgeman.
