Jerry Valkoun, age 83, of Fostoria died March 20, 2013 at United Hospice in Marlette.
Jerry was born August 31, 1929 in Flint. The son of the late Henry and Elizabeth Valkoun. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.
Jerry later married Dorothy Morrow on May 26, 1962 in Flint.
He loved to dance the polka, and always enjoyed a cold beer with friends.
Jerry owned the former Jerdos bar in Columbiaville.
Jerry is survived by his wife Dorothy,
Children: Linda ( Dennis ) Stockinger, Cliff Gilbert,
Grandchildren: Dorothy, Dennis, Jamie, Frank, Misty,
and 16 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by children who are in his heart also grandchildren: Kelly, Lauren, and Daryl.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Ann, Dolly, Joan, Libby, Helen, Eddie, and Sonny.
