Isabel M. Ferrell – age 88, passed away on January 12, 2019 in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 12 PM with one hour of visitation prior to at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Isabel was born on September 17, 1930 in Aguada, Puerto Rico to the late Pedro and Sofia Mercado. Isabel married the love of her life, Harold Ferrell Jr., on December 6, 1952. Isabel enjoyed bowling, gardening, baking, cake decorating, needle point, sewing, traveling, and the holidays -especially Christmas. But most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her children: Harold D. (Vera) Ferrell, Michael (Wanda) Ferrell and Ann Williams; grandchildren: Jessica Coulter, Hope Vines and Faida Williams; great-grandchildren: Ashia Clemons, Maiya Sadler, De’Andrea Coulter, Tamia Vines and James Sheely; great-great-grandchildren: Aniya Williams, Rashawn Williams Jr., Kiarrah Williams, Wynter Davis and Jackson Wilson; siblings Pablo Mercado, Aurea Estel Mercado Gonzalez and Domingo Mercado; and a special acknowledgement for her beloved niece, Debbie Gonzales, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ferrell Jr.; parents, Pedro and Sofia Mercado; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. |
