COATES, Sandi– of Burton, Age 67, passed away March 8, 2017 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Linda Waldo officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Genesys/Hurley Cancer Institute.
Sandi was born in Goodrich, MI on May 27, 1949, daughter of Howard and Viola (Ranger) Alburtus. She retired from Fernco in 2016 after 38 years of employment.
Sandi is survived by her children Michelle Craton of Davison, Christy Moore of Burton and Michael Coates of Burton; granddaughter Kylie (Anthony) Pychon of Davison; great-grandchild, Karlie; siblings, Howard (Sheri) Alburtus of Prudenville, Frances Eldridge of Burton; brother in law Jerry Divin of Clio; special family member Teri Broadway of Davison; loving dog and friend, Lillie; many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by brother Harold Alburtus; sister, Mary Divin.
