COON, David D. – Of Swartz Creek, age 50, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 15, 2017.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Aaron Whitman officiating.

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Those desiring may make contributions to Bethany Baptist Church of Burton.

Visitation 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

David’s family requests that you please wear something purple for your support for the cure of pancreatic cancer.

David was born in Flint, Michigan on June 27, 1966.

He enjoyed his family, time up north, hunting and fishing at their cabin, horseback riding in Wyoming and Bible study.

David owned and operated Coon Well Drilling, Inc., being the third generation of water well drillers in his family.

He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Swartz Creek for 26 years, and recently joined Bethany Baptist Church of Burton.

Leaving to cherish his memory are his wife, Trish A. Coon; children, Olivia, Alyssa, Drake, Ethan, Jesse and Michaela.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith and father, Robert and step-son, Dylan.
