Richard was born in Flint, MI on January 16, 1962, son of Richard, Sr. and Carol Ann (Card) Schempf. Richard enjoyed metal detecting, hunting and loved the outdoors.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Schempf; mother, Carol Schempf; siblings, Don (Melesa) Schempf, Chris (Holly) Schempf and Marianne (DuWayne) Zaruba; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Stacie, Bailey, Patrick and Camden. He was preceded in death by his dad, Richard Schempf, Sr.
