SAIDOO, Peter – of Burton, age 86, passed away February 19, 2016 at Genesys Health Park. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be held 2-5 PM Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans ( www.dav.org ).
Peter was born in Chicago, IL on October 7, 1929, son of the late Paul and Barbara (Samac) Saidoo. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. Peter moved to the Flint area to open a TV Repair and Antenna Business, later he would be a restaurant and bar operator for over 30 years. He was an avid and accomplished golfer. Peter will be missed dearly by family and friends.
Peter is survived by his children, Joe (Tamara) Saidoo, Paul David (Janene) Saidoo, Kimberlee Saidoo; grandchildren, Christopher, Erica (Adam), Lauren (Rich), Sean, Casie (Austin), Sydney; five great grandchildren and one on the way; mother of his children, Juanita Wallis; sister, Betty Dimich; many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his companion, Cheryl Ribarchik; siblings, Josephine Fournier and Nicholas Saidoo.
