FAVIL, Carol M. (Smith) – of Davison, MI, age 75, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Elder Lola Robson and Elder John Hart co-officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 5-8 PM Tuesday, April 23, 2019 and 10-11 AM Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, in Carol’s memory.
Carol was born in Flint, MI on July 10, 1943, daughter of the late William James and Genevee (McGeathy) Smith. She married Richard Favil on February 16, 1963 and he preceded her in death on July 26, 1992. Carol was a member of Community of Christ Church. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Carol was deeply loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
Carol is survived by 2 children, Joseph (Julie) Favil and Stacey (Tim) Webb; 3 grandchildren, Riley Webb, Jonathon Favil and Hunter Webb; 2 brothers, Tony (Kathy) Smith and Mike Smith; many other loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, James Smith and sister-in-law, Gloria Smith.
