JUDKINS, Charles E. – of Davison, age 88, passed away June 15, 2017 at Magnolia House. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor David Burkett officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday and 12-1 PM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Chuck was born in Pottsville, AR on November 16, 1928, son of the late George and Nola (Kinder) Judkins. He married Helen Venita Stewart on July 12, 1955. Chuck was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie # 629. He worked for AC Delphi for 43 years, retiring in 1996. Chuck enjoyed playing cards, bowling, making birdhouses and watching the Detroit Tigers.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Helen; daughters, Judy Harris, Carol Lynn (Laurence) Durance, Charlotte Williams, Christine (Kerry) Barrett, Catherine (Robert) Lewis; grandchildren, Eric, Jason, Rachael, Misty, Alisha; 12 great-grandchildren; eight siblings. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Phil Harris; grandsons, Daniel and Todd; five siblings.
