Seymour, Lawrence J. age 78 died Feb. 20, 2014 at Hines VA Hospital, Hines, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 noon Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church 11110 S. Saginaw St. Mt. Morris, MI. Family will receive visitors from 12-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and from 11 am Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Fr. Tom Nenneau officiating. Lawrence was joined in marriage to Jean Lee July 25, 1969 and she preceded him in death Feb. 8, 2011. Jean was the love of his life. Lawrence was a United States Marine, and he loved bowling. He was inducted as a member into the AWBA Hall of Fame, and was a National Champion Bowler through the AWBA. Lawrence is survived by his daughters Becky (Mike), Rose, grandsons Mike (Peggy), Eric, Derek (Jenni), Josh(Fiancee Kelly) and Nick, greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews, sister Leah (Marshall), sister-in-law Conchita. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean, brothers Leonard and Jack. Donations may be made to the Hines Fisher House, Hines VA Hospital, 5000 S. 5th Ave Hines, IL 60141. |
