WILLIAMSON, Bobby Gene -- Age 82, of Swartz Creek, died June 4, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Friday June 7 at St Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek. MGSR George Michalek Celebrant. Burial at Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Thursday with a Rosary being prayed at 7PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, our temporary location at Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will also be 10AM Friday until time of mass at St Mary Catholic Church. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
Bobby was born October 7, 1936 in Clay County Arkansas the son of James and Helen (Russell) Williamson. He married Joanne Halka in Swartz Creek on September 15, 1956. Bobby graduated from Flint Central H.S. He was a Special Investigator with GM, AC Sparkplug. Bobby was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angles Catholic Church. He was the long time President of the Friendship Club. Bobby enjoyed working on and beautifying his yard. He also was an avid Euchre player.
Surviving are: wife Joanne; daughters, Brenda Sovis, and Teresa (Eugene) Tuohy; son in law, Martin Sovis; grandchildren, Monica (Peter) Serran, Jason Sovis, David Sovis, Brandon Sovis, Garrett Tuohy, and Alex Tuohy; great grandson, Cooper Sovis; brothers, Donald (Carlene) Williamson, and Gary (Vicki) Williamson; several nieces and nephews.
