Mary Jane Hetherington, age 76 of Swartz Creek, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018. She was born on December 30, 1941 in Holly to parents Andrew and Ruth (Wetherald) Spring. Mary enjoyed gardening, bowling, and playing euchre with her friends. She devoted her life to her family and her children. Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, Daniel Hetherington; children: Duane Hetherington, Kelly Henley, and Kenneth Hetherington; grandchildren: Mary (Jeff) Wilkinson, Haley Henley, Eddie Henley, Stephanie Hetherington, and Amber Hetherington; great grandchildren: Kaydense Wilkinson and Makyla Wilkinson; siblings: Roy (Dorothy) Spring, Joyce Stauffer; sister-in-law, Colleen Spring. She was preceded in death by both parents; siblings: Betty and Andy. A funeral service will take place at 11am on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the funeral home, and again on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Interment at Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to Catholic Charities. |
