JANET YVONNE ROCK, age 82 of Otisville, died Thursday, October 3, 2019, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home with Pastor Janine Plum officiating and Pastor Jim Harrington co-officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 2-8 PM, with an Eastern Star Memorial Service at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Richfield United Methodist Church, 10090 East Coldwater Rd, Davison, Michigan 48423. Yvonne was born on August 26, 1937, in Flint, Michigan and was the daughter of William H. and Elizabeth F. (Fourney) Carll. Yvonne was retired from Genesee School District, where she lovingly served as high school secretary for over 30 years. She was a member of the Richfield United Methodist Church, where she was a former church board president, the Order of the Eastern Star, Nourmahal Chapter #282 of Otisville, where she was a Past Matron, and several other Masonic organizations. She is survived by her brother, Larry (Judy) Carll, sisters-in-law Jeanie Carll, Shirley Carll and Donna Johnson, many nephews and nieces, including special nephew William (Michelle) Carll and special niece Jenifer (Randy) Tong. She also had many great-nephews and great-nieces, including special nieces McKenzie, Joelle, Chloe and Phoebe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, her parents, and her siblings Fred, Fredia, Gerry, Gene, Bill, Tom, Phyllis and Sharon. |
