William Anthony Oswald
Age 69 of Clio formerly of Owosso passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30am Saturday October 22, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael O'Brien officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Friday October 21 from 4pm to 8pm and on Saturday from 9:30am to 10:15am for the final prayers to be prayed. A rosary will be prayed on Friday at 7pm.
William was born May 10, 1947, the son of Frank J. and Mary (Majzel) Oswald.
He was a 1965 Owosso High School graduate, attended Michigan State University and proudly served in the United States Navy.
William was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He loved to go fishing and he was particularly pleased when his father would join him. William enjoyed getting together at family gatherings and always had a special place in his heart for his special furry friend, his cat Oreo.
He retired from Xerox Corporation after 23 years of service as a Sr. Tech Representative.
William is survived by his aunts and uncles Joe (Kay) Ozwalda, Mike Majzel and Marie Panik; several cousins and other loving family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; and other loving family members.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Oliver Woods Retirement Village or St. Joseph Church.
