Carl Arthur Barry, age 69 of Savannah, GA, formerly of Flint, MI. died unexpectedly at Memorial University Medical Center of Savannah GA. on May 13, 2016.
A Service Of Remembrance will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Columbiaville United Methodist Church of Columbiaville, MI. Pastor Esther Irish will officiate.
Family will receive visitors Saturday, October15, 2016 at 10 AM until the time of service.
Burial will take place at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbiaville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Fund.
Carl was born February 26, 1947 in Flint, MI. to Glenn and Doris (Pruitt) Barry and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was the General Manager of The Holiday Inn of Savannah, GA. and also the Beachview Club Hotel, of Jekyll Island. His hobbies were hunting, bass fishing and he enjoyed participating in Soft Ball tournaments.
Carl is survived by his children: Cindy (Bill) Mathers of Swartz Creek, Michelle (Esther) Barry of Clio, one brother: Alan (Sue) Barry and a sister:Terry (Mark) Funch, two grand daughters: Cheyenne and Sabrina, two great grand children: Kelvin and Kamari and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Glen and Doris (Pruitt) Barry and a sister: Laura.
