RODGERS, Mary Agnes. – of Mt. Morris, age 83, died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, September 14, 2015 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-8PM and Monday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
Mary was born April 8, 1932 in Flint, Michigan. The daughter of the late William and Hazel (Morse) Hunter. She lived at her home in the Mt. Morris area for the past 46 years. Mary married Fred Rodgers October 4, 1950 in Flint. He preceded her in death. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, reading, fill-in puzzles and spending time with her family.
Surviving are: Children: Janie (Norman) Foster of Clio, Steve (Becky) Rodgers of Birch Run; Foster children: Robert (Cheryl) Aboott of Birch Run, Bethany (Dan) O’Brian of Washington; 7 grandchildren: Lynette (Tim) Abrahams, Melissa (Bob) Martin, Katie, Amy, Carrie, Freddy and Stephanie; 6 great-grandchildren; Brother, Homer (Caroline) Hunter.
