HUBBARD, Marc A. – of Ocala, FL, formerly of Burton, MI, age 55, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Chris Radcliffe officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 3-8 PM Tuesday, February 7, 2017 and 10-11 AM Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Legacy House at the Hospice of Marion County, 9505 SW 110th St., Ocala, FL 34481, in Marc’s memory.
Marc was born November 6, 1961 in Flint, MI, son of John and Ruth (Horcha) Hubbard. He was a graduate of Atherton High School Class of 1980. Marc also attended Mott Community College and was a graduate of Daytona State University in Daytona Beach, FL. He was employed with Bear Archery in Gainesville, FL as a CNC Operator. Marc enjoyed riding motorcycles and golfing. He was an avid sports fan, especially the University of Michigan and Detroit Lions football.
Marc is survived by his parents; brother, John Hubbard; sister, Jennifer (Jon) Morningstar; 2 nephews, Joshua (Arminda) Morningstar and Devin Hubbard; 3 nieces, Jessica Morningstar, Tracy Lynn Hubbard and Jessica Streng; great-niece, McKinley Streng; special friend, Beverly Schroader; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Everett and Elaine Hubbard and Steve and Marian Horcha; niece, Jordan Morningstar and cousin, Terry Hubbard.
