HAUG, Elisabeth Louise – Of Grand Blanc, age 86, died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Per Elisabeth’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Haug was born in Java Netherlands East Indies on October 6, 1925, the daughter of the late Hendrich and Louisa Oerlemans and was a resident of Grand Blanc for many years. Elisabeth married John Haug Sr. on April 10, 1951 in Yokohama, Japan. Elisabeth enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are husband, John Sr.; children, Joyce and husband Norbert Dlugokinski of Grand Blanc and John Jr. and wife Jill of Grand Blanc; five grandchildren, Dr. Mark and wife Amanda Dlugokinski,Marisa and husband Dr.Roman Cibirka, all of GA, Jennifer and husband Nick Saad of Grand Blanc, Kelly and husband Mike Herriman of Linden and Specialist John III stationed in El Paso, TX; great-grandchildren, Skylar Cibirka, Jack Dlugokinski, Jade Dlugokinski and Sawyer Saad; brother, Armand and wife Carla Oerlemans of CA; sister, Elly Kunzle of Zurich, Switzerland; several nieces and nephews.
