DAIDONE, John - Of Grand Blanc, age 88, went to his Lord peacefully Saturday, March 24, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Michigan Humane Society.
Visitation 11am-3pm and 5-8pm Monday and 12pm Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
John was born in Flint on November 1, 1929, the son of the late Salvitore and Jennie (Finazzi) Daidone. On December 14, 1994 he married Nancy Ann Bolen in Las Vegas. John was employed with General Motors for 30 years. He loved, Bingo, golf and fishing.
Surviving are wife, Nancy;
son, John Jr. (Claire);
step-children, Phillip Morris, Omar (Delta) Morris and Marjo (Richard) Lake;
many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Daidone and sister, Rose Kent.
