WOOSLEY, Leon - age 80, of Otisville, passed away March 12, 2020. Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Monday, March 16, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Kim French officiating. Visitation will be 11 AM until time of service Monday. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton.
Leon was born November 19, 1939 in Bradshaw WV, the son of Thomas Earl and Ressie (Bledsoe) Woosley. He married Geraldine Justus in Chicago, February 12, 1966. Leon retired from GM after 32 years, having worked at the Buick Plant in Flint and Corvette Plant in Bowling Green, KY. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, horse racing, and drag racing.
He is survived by: his wife, Geraldine; children, Donna (Randal) French and Richard (Stefanie) Woosley; grandchildren, Ronald French, Nicole French, Brandon Woosley, Amber Woosley, Halle Woosley, and Michael Woosley; great grandchildren, Kolton, Luke, Theo, and Michaele; and sister Pearl (Andrew) Whitt.
