Age 81 of Owosso passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility (formerly Pleasant View Nursing Home) in Corunna.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10am Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr.Michael O'Brien officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Friday from 4pm to 8pm with a rosary prayed at 7pm.
Clara was the daughter of John and Katarina (Yellen) Gasparovic born in Owosso on December 8, 1935.
Resided all her life in Owosso, Clara was employed with General Telephone in Owosso for 37 years and retired in 1991.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church and a life time member of the Flint Catholic Slovak Union (Jednota).
Clara is survived by her sister Helen; brother-in-law Rudy Dvorski and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers John, Joe, Frank and Paul Gasparovic and sisters Anna Dobrovic, Mary Fabian, Frances Dvorski and Agnes Maybik.
