Alpha Omega Boylston (fondly regarded as Mama Mega by many and Ms. Alpha by others), 83 years old, of Flint, Michigan, passed away on July 29th, 2017.
Alpha was born in Piney Fork, North Carolina on April 2, 1934. She was married to Oscar Boylston for over 63 years.
Alpha was a cafeteria worker for Flint public school system for over ten years. One of her favorite outings was to the Ponderosa for a steak and baked potato. She found joy in servicing the community and sharing her love for Jehovah while being actively involved in the Kingdom Hall for many years.
Alpha is preceded in death by her husband Oscar, her two sons David, Raymond and her brother John Hamlin.
Alpha is survived by her four of her children Calvin, Louis, Jeffery and Antionette (McQueen), two sisters (Marvenia Diem and Janet Mustafaa), two nieces (Kimberly Hamlin and Monica Blackwell), nephews (Michael and Rodney Gibson, Marvin and Ian Diem and Rashawn Hamlin), eleven grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and other family and friends.
The memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2211 Stedron St., Flint, MI 48504. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 1pm.
