Velasquez, Lorie Renae - Age 58, of Flint Township, died September 26, 2018. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Saturday September 29 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Lorie was born May 15, 1960 the daughter of Arthur N. and Iva B. (Cameron) Bender. She married Jose Velasquez on October 21, 1981 in Flint. Lorie worked for Android Industry. She was the first female shop chairman for Android Industry Local 659. Lorie is survived by her husband, Jose; 2 children, Nicole of Mundy Township and Jose II and wife Rachel of Vassar; grandchildren, Maddison and Jose III; father, Arthur Bender; brothers, Tim Bender, Kevin and wife Patty Bender; father-in-law, Gilberto Velasquez; sister-in-law, Dahlia and husband Terry Gross; several nieces and nephews.
